Ferdtrans Shipping was established in 2014 with the merger of Denholm Handling and Denholm Transport, a union that brought together two companies that had already been working closely together for many years. A fully integrated business was created to ensure the customer experienced a seamless solution for all their warehousing, haulage and distribution requirements.
Haulage, warehousing and distribution are core to the services available to meet the demands of a diverse customer base with cargoes ranging from fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) to bulk cargoes including, but not limited to forest products and steel.
Operating from port centric sites in key locations across the country, the extensive resource and assets available within each site are achieved through a strategy of careful planning and ongoing investment. The customer really feels the benefit of increased efficiencies, reliability and, where possible, reduced costs.
